Making savings last after losing my job (Boise)

I have 10 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a janitorial supervisor. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
