Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

We are a household of 9 and need to cut costs quickly. I am in Memphis, in case local advice matters. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
