Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a call-centre agent. I am in San Diego, in case local advice matters. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $300 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
