I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a welding apprentice. It has been weighing on me all week. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
