Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a delivery driver. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
