Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an accounts payable clerk. It has been a long 13 weeks. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
