Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

I have 13 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a janitorial supervisor. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $500 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
