Making savings last after losing my job - any advice?

We are a household of 12 and need to cut costs quickly. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $600 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
