Making savings last after losing my job (Albuquerque)

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a software tester. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
