Making savings last after losing my job after 9 years as a quality inspector

I have 6 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a quality inspector. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
