Making savings last after losing my job after 3 years as a payroll clerk

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a payroll clerk. Any experience at all would help. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
