Making savings last after losing my job after 10 years as an accountant

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an accountant. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $100 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
