Making savings last after losing my job

We are a household of 18 and need to cut costs quickly. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $950 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
