Making savings last after losing my job

I have 6 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a web developer. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
