Making savings last after losing my job - 5 months and counting

We are a household of 18 and need to cut costs quickly. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
