Making savings last after losing my job - 5 months and counting

I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a customer-service rep. It has been weighing on me all week. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $250 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
