Making savings last after losing my job - 3 months and counting

I have 3 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a marketing coordinator. Any experience at all would help. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
