Making savings last after losing my job

I have 2 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a paralegal. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
