Making savings last after losing my job

We are a household of 15 and need to cut costs quickly. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1150 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
