Making savings last after losing my job

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a quality inspector. I worked as a quality inspector before this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
