Making savings last after losing my job - 14 months and counting

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a bookkeeper. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
