Making savings last after losing my job - 13 months and counting

I have 13 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a mechanic. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
