Making savings last after losing my job

I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a software tester. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
