Making savings last after losing my job - 10 weeks in

We are a household of 16 and need to cut costs quickly. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $250 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
