Making savings last after losing my job - 10 months and counting

I have 10 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a call-centre agent. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
