Making savings last after losing my job - 10 months and counting

I have 10 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a paralegal. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
