Making savings last after losing my job

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a retail manager. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $700 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
