Low days while job hunting - what worked for you?

After a layoff as a project coordinator I am finding mornings difficult. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
