Low days while job hunting (Portland)

I have been out of work for 5 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. What helps you on bad days?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
