Low days while job hunting - any advice?

I have been out of work for 23 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I worked as a sales associate before this. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
