Low days while job hunting after 8 years as a customer-service rep

After a layoff as a customer-service rep I am finding mornings difficult. Any experience at all would help. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
