Low days while job hunting after 6 years as a mechanic

I have been out of work for 18 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
