Low days while job hunting after 17 years as an office manager

I have been out of work for 3 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
