Low days while job hunting after 10 years as an accounts payable clerk

After a layoff as an accounts payable clerk I am finding mornings difficult. It has been weighing on me all week. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. What helps you on bad days?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
