Low days while job hunting, administrative assistant here

After a layoff as an administrative assistant I am finding mornings difficult. It has been weighing on me all week. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. What helps you on bad days?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
