Low days while job hunting - 7 months and counting

I have been out of work for 5 weeks and this week has been the hardest. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
