Low days while job hunting

After a layoff as a machine operator I am finding mornings difficult. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
