Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - what worked for you?

Three companies in St. Louis cut staff in the same month. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
