Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? (update)

Three companies in Cincinnati cut staff in the same month. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
