Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot?, social media manager here

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a social media manager. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
