Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot?, nurse's aide here

Three companies in Buffalo cut staff in the same month. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
