Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot?, forklift operator here

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a forklift operator. It has been a long 17 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. How did you choose?

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
