Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - first time posting

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an IT help-desk technician. I worked as an IT help-desk technician before this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
