Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - first time posting

Three companies in St. Louis cut staff in the same month. It has been a long 7 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
