Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - first time posting

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.
