Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - first time posting

Three companies in Tampa cut staff in the same month. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
