Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - any advice?

Three companies in Cincinnati cut staff in the same month. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
