Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - any advice?

Three companies in Hartford cut staff in the same month. It has been a long 8 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.
