Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - any advice?

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a security officer. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
