Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - any advice?

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. I worked as a project coordinator before this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
